On Saturday, February 3, 2015, a 1,000 kW motor failed due to winding damage at a cement plant in northern Germany. A short-term repair was impossible. The maintenance team of the cement plant contacted EMZ. Thanks to its extensive stock of large drives, EMZ was able to offer the cement plant a suitable 1,350 kW motor. The motor was shipped on Sunday evening so that production could be resumed on Monday.
