Dipl.-Ing. Josef Beese founds EMZ Elektromaschinenzentrale GmbH in Mülheim an der Ruhr.

Dipl.-Ing. Engelbert Rataj becomes the second Managing Director of EMZ.

Dipl.-Wirt.-Ing. Stefan Beese takes over the management of EMZ.

Thanks to the EMZ branch in Alsace, we are able to acquire large orders in France and achieve a new record result for EMZ.

Production start of our EMK low-voltage motors.

The office space at the headquarters in Recklinghausen is doubled in order to further expand the successful sales business with EMK motors. EMZ Sàrl is also growing steadily and moves into a new company building with its own warehouse in Cernay.

EMZ expands the production and workshop area by 800 m² to a total of 1800 m². With a modern 1000 m² high-bay warehouse and 3 additional loading ramps, logistics processes and supply chain management are optimised.

Dipl.-Ing. Benedikt Mathiaszyk replaces Engelbert Rataj as Managing Director and expands the large-scale machinery and project business.

EMZ starts stocking brand-new high-voltage motors up to an output of 6,000 kW. New record sales are achieved through the successful large-scale machine business.

EMZ takes over the traditional Swiss company Unitec AG and now operates under the new name EMZ Unitec AG.

Inauguration of our new large-scale machine test bay up to 6,000 kW and 13,200 V at the Recklinghausen site.

EMZ receives QM certification for the areas of: Development and project planning, production, sales, commissioning, service and repair of electrical drives and systems.

In the spirit of environmental protection, our company is now committed to using paperless offices.

Due to large framework contracts for EMK motors, the storage capacities are expanded by 1,400 additional storage spaces.

EMZ achieves new record sales in the export business with high-voltage motors and successfully supplies complete speed-controlled drive systems with outputs up to 3,000 kW.

Deniz Beese, MBA succeeds Stefan Beese and becomes the new Managing Director.

Serge Sutter is appointed as the sole Managing Director of the French subsidiary and takes over the management of the site in Alsace.

After appropriate preliminary planning, the renovation of the warehouse begins and additional storage capacity is built up.
